I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with 6.5 years of experience. I possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Baker College and am currently pursuing my Doctorate Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Purdue University. My nursing education and clinical experience have provided me with a strong foundation in pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, pathophysiology, health assessment, and evidence-based practice. Having successfully completed nursing school and the NCLEX-RN, I understand the challenges students face and enjoy helping them develop the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed academically and professionally.

Throughout my nursing career and graduate education, I have frequently mentored and educated nursing students, new graduate nurses, patients, and healthcare team members in both one-on-one and clinical settings. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand explanations while encouraging critical thinking and clinical reasoning. I also assist students with study strategies, test-taking techniques, care plans, APA formatting, research assignments, and NCLEX preparation.

I work with nursing students at various levels, including pre-nursing, LPN/LVN, ADN, BSN, and graduate nursing students. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether a student needs help mastering course material, preparing for an exam, improving academic writing, or developing confidence in clinical concepts, I am committed to helping them achieve their educational goals.
