I hold a PhD in Chemistry, which has provided me with a deep understanding of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and scientific problem-solving. During my doctoral training, I gained extensive experience breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable concepts, which I now apply in tutoring. My academic background allows me to teach a wide range of subjects, including general chemistry, biochemistry, and foundational STEM topics, at both the high school and college levels.
I have several years of experience teaching and mentoring students in one-on-one and small group settings. I have worked with high school students preparing for AP Chemistry exams, as well as undergraduate students needing guidance in college-level chemistry courses and laboratory work. My approach is personalized and adaptive: I assess each student’s strengths and areas for growth, and I develop targeted strategies that help them build confidence while mastering the material.
