I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, where I have developed strong foundations in mathematics, physics, systems modeling, and engineering analysis. My graduate coursework has included advanced topics such as physiological modeling, transport phenomena, and data analysis, which have strengthened both my conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities. Through this academic training, I have gained the depth of knowledge necessary to tutor subjects including algebra, calculus, differential equations, physics, and introductory engineering and biomedical engineering courses.

Over the past several years, I have provided one-on-one tutoring to high school and college students in math and science courses. I have worked with students ranging from early high school through undergraduate level, helping them prepare for exams, complete assignments, and build long-term conceptual understanding. My tutoring experience has primarily been in individualized settings, which has allowed me to tailor my explanations to each student’s learning style and pace. I focus on breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, emphasizing conceptual clarity before moving into advanced applications.

My teaching approach centers on building confidence and critical thinking skills. Rather than simply demonstrating how to solve a problem, I guide students through the reasoning process so they understand why each step works. I incorporate practice problems, real-world examples, and review sessions to reinforce learning. As an engineering graduate student, I regularly apply these same problem-solving strategies in my own coursework and research, which allows me to connect theoretical concepts to practical applications and help students see the relevance of what they are learning.
