Scott has been incredible filling this void and helping her understand all the things she’s missed . He’s been patient and has been explaining everything from scratch , even the most basic terms. Gives exercises so she can practice between tutoring sessions. She’s very happy. Everything is coming together and she can’t thank Scott enough.
Physics is hard for many reasons, but one of the main ones is that each unit builds off the previous one - it is hard to perform well in Unit 5 if Units 1-4 aren't understood. Within the first 30 minutes of working with a student, I can find where their issues begin, and will devise a plan to catch them up to their current class level from that point.

My daughter who is a junior in high school started seeing Scott for tutoring for her AP Physics class at the beginning of November. She's had 7 sessions with Scott, about one a week for 45 minutes at a time. Scott has helped her review the material and has given her practice questions to do with and without him. He has helped answer any questions she has had. Scott is personable, reliable, and responsive. Her grades have started improving in class and just as importantly her understanding of the material and confidence in her ability has also improved, and I attribute some of her recent success to Scott.
