During high school, I worked as a tutor at both Kumon and Eye Level, where I focused on helping students aged 5 to 15 in a one-on-one setting. My approach to tutoring emphasizes building confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement. I believe that fostering a supportive learning environment is key to helping students succeed, particularly in high-pressure test-taking situations. By focusing on a student’s strengths and gradually addressing their challenges, I aim to improve both their academic performance and their self-assurance.
