By far the best math teacher she’s ever had!
My daughter’s grade went from a C- to an A with Carolyn’s help! Carolyn is attentive and kind, as expected of a Wyzant tutor. But the thing that makes her the most amazing tutor is that she has figured out the secret sauce for getting my daughter to do the hard work herself. Carolyn doesn’t just teach the material — she actually coaches her students on how to problem-solve for themselves. My son is currently taking Advanced Algebra 2, and for the first time ever, is struggling to understand math. His teacher's teaching style does not jive with his learning style. Carolyn has been amazing at bridging the gap. She is extremely patient and breaks things down in a way he understands. Teachers matter, and we are so lucky to have found a great one!
