Hi, I'm Anthony! In 2025, I graduated cum laude and with college honors from University of Illinois Chicago with a bachelor's in mathematics, and I'm currently pursuing an MSW at Loyola University Chicago. In addition to 3 years of tutoring experience both virtually and in person, I have approximately a semester of experience (Spring and Summer 2026) teaching high school geometry and honors pre-calculus to 122 10th and 11th grade students in a traditional classroom setting. Besides geometry and pre-calculus, I also have experience tutoring the SAT, the ACT, and all levels of high school mathematics up to and including AP Calculus.
In my own experience as a student, the classes I've been the most successful in were taught by professors who were flexible, understanding, and willing to extend themselves beyond the bare minimum. As such, I try to adopt an overall patient, present, and receptive approach in both the classroom and individual tutoring sessions. This includes adjusting my instruction in accordance with student learning styles, consistently prompting the student for feedback, and collaborating with parents to address obstacles to student success if necessary. I'm also genuinely energized by the process of explaining mathematics and will never shy away from a question about the material. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson! I try my hardest to reply ASAP.
