I have lived a life shaped by three worlds—Mexico, the United States, and Spain. Born in rural Mexico, raised in the U.S., and academically rooted in Spain, I bring a multicultural perspective that enriches my teaching. My bilingual and bicultural upbringing inspired a lifelong passion for language, culture, and meaningful connection.
I earned my degree in Spanish and Linguistics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where I lived and studied for two years, immersing myself fully in Spanish language and culture. I later began an MBA in Fashion Design at Universidad Europea de Madrid, exploring how creativity and cultural expression intersect.
With over twenty years of teaching experience, I have taught Spanish to children, teens, and adults at all proficiency levels. My teaching style is dynamic, inclusive, and personalized—I strive to meet each learner where they are and help them grow with confidence. I believe language learning is more than mastering vocabulary and grammar; it’s about connecting with people, understanding diverse perspectives, and building cultural awareness.
Currently, I continue to merge academic expertise with authentic cultural experiences through my work with SayHolaNow, helping students not only learn Spanish but truly live it—joyfully, confidently, and meaningfully.
