I have tutored students in math, music, and theatre for 4 years. I hold a degree in math education, and have taught 7th-12th grade math. I chose to be a teacher because I wanted to create an environment that is loving and encouraging for all students. I chose to be a tutor to reach more students, and provide additional resources so students can feel their best and do their best!

I have a degree with a main focus in math education. In my past tutoring sessions, I tried to meet the needs of the student. If there was a problem with confidence, I make sure we complete assignments and attempt additional problems to further understanding. If students are lost, I have provided interesting and unique ways of delivering information and making it ‘stick’.

In my undergrad, I obtained 2 minors in theatre and music. I have played piano for 6+ years, as well as having professional training in piano and voice performance.

Theatre has always been apart of my life ever since I was in elementary. I performed in roles such as Edna in Hairspray, Sylvia St. Croix in Ruthless!, and Hermès in Metamorphoses. I have directed plays and musicals for 6+ years, as well as worked as a costume designer and a sound designer.

Overall I have a wide range of experience in math, leadership, teaching/tutoring, and performance. I work hard to provide correct solutions, unique methods, and engaging lessons. I don’t always have the right answers at first, but I guarantee that I will do my research to provide the correct information to my students. I have helped students jump from a D to an A without feeding them answers, and can do the same for you!
