As a classroom teacher I have taught all primary grades from PreK to 3rd. I also have experience tutoring students in middle school and high school in various subjects. In addition to teaching in the classroom setting, I have also served as a ESL teacher in which I used various teaching methods in small group to help non native English speakers to be successful in the classroom environment. I have also served as an academic interventionist, where I worked with students who struggled in reading and math. In addition, I worked with students on grade level and above, helping them to excel by providing enrichment opportunities. I currently serve as a Reading Specialist in a primary school, where I provide intervention and accelerated learning experiences as well as provide coaching and mentoring to other educators.
