Hello! I am Haresh! I am a current undergraduate student with a major in Physiology, along with a minor in Chemistry. I've always had a thirst for knowledge, and I quickly found that a good learning environment can often make or break a student's success. My most memorable experiences throughout middle and high school were from teachers I had been able to connect with on a personal level, which will be reflected in my teaching style and methodology. Although I do lack tutoring experience, I am comfortable with change, and will tailor my learning style to each student's needs. I will first introduce the material in a fun and creative manner, delving deeper into material with other lessons. However, as mentioned previously, this can always be adjusted based on personal needs and preferences, or if you would like to just try something new!
Although my tutoring experience is minimal, the study methods I have created for myself have been shown to have a significant effect. Through these methods, I was able to gain the prestigious honor of valedictorian, ending high school
with a GPA of 4.2 out of 4.0. With my first year of college, I had been able to keep my 4.0 GPA and advance to the Dean's List in advanced level college courses, such as Honors Chemistry, Biostatistics, and Plant/Animal Biology. The habits I first incorporated into my studying routine during high school found the attention of my peers, who eventually began reaching out for assistance with their homework material, most notably in Chemistry, Algebra, and Geometry, from which I have experience tutoring.
As someone who always felt that unquenchable thirst for knowledge, I aim to help my students learn about the world around them in a fun and connectable way. I want to benefit the students I work with in any way possible, and welcome any resources or suggestions students or parents wish to provide.
