I am Dr. Donald. I specialize in science and in language arts. My one-on-one tutoring style adapts to the skill level and learning style of the student. I have tutored and instructed students at the graduate level and beyond, but I have also been praised for my ability to break down complex topics with metaphors and simple language, making even high-level concepts accessible to students of all backgrounds. I would be happy to work with students of any age, but I especially enjoy working with adults and teens who are keen to master their subject of interest.
I come from a unique educational background, and I am highly proficient in both the sciences and the written word. I have a PhD in the biomedical sciences, and bachelor's degrees in both biology and English. I am soon to be a published author of a nonfiction work on the subject of science in popular culture. I am excited to share my knowledge with students who are eager to learn, especially for high school, test prep, and college. If you need help with reading/writing/English language skills, or if you need help with science, talk to me. I am eager to hear from you.
