I am a licensed high school math teacher with five years of classroom experience and a strong academic background in mathematics education. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in the Teaching of Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. My education and hands-on experience have equipped me to effectively teach all levels of high school math, from Algebra and Geometry to advanced topics like Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught students in grades 9–12 in a traditional high school setting, and I’ve also worked with individuals one-on-one to help them meet their specific goals—whether that’s boosting classroom performance, preparing for college entrance exams, or tackling challenging coursework. My teaching approach is supportive, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation while encouraging problem-solving skills and independent thinking.
To ensure our sessions are as effective as possible, I kindly ask that students share the topics or materials they’d like to work on 24–48 hours in advance. This allows me to prepare personalized lessons and make the most of our time together. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and develop skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
