I am a Spanish teacher with more than 20 years of experience in education. I am originally from Spain, where I taught English, Math, and Science to students from Early Childhood through 7th grade. For the past 11 years, I have also worked in Dallas and Illinois in both charter and public schools, teaching students with different ages, needs, and learning levels.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including one-on-one instruction, small groups with different learning levels, whole-class instruction, tutoring during school breaks, and summer school programs. I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s needs and focus on making learning meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable.
I have always been fascinated by grammar, language, and understanding how and why language works. This passion led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language, along with additional training in education and learning difficulties. I am also a certified Spanish Teacher and an Instituto Cervantes A1 Children’s Examiner.
I would love the opportunity to share my passion for my native language with students who need an extra push, as well as with those who simply want to discover, learn, and enjoy Spanish.
