In my business career, and I am shocked at how many people don't comprehend algebra. I see it when people don't realize that things don'e quite "add up", when they don't realize there is something missing in someone's math (maybe their own). This is helpful in careers like computer science, statistics, the physical sciences, and other fields that involve higher levels of math. Good luck in your search for a tutor.
