I have an associate degree in science with a major in Physics and I have taken many math classes in my time in both high school and College. I have helped many of my classmates with understanding material and tutoring them and others when they requested help. I have also had a student that I tutored in the past in Calculus for a year and helped her to pass her exams and finals as well as helped her truly understand the material instead of just having her memorize how to solve problems.
I tutor online and the way I do it is first I'll always ask what topics you want to cover before we meet so I can prepare correctly and then during our session I will help you with homework problems you are stuck on if that's what you need and then after that (or if you don't want to go over homework or study guides) I will go step by step through the topics you requested help with and give you many examples of how to solve those kinds of problems as well as teaching a few tricks that I have picked up over the years if there are tricks for that topic. I encourage you to bring as many problems as you can to the session so I can get an idea as to what your professor expects from you and what kinds of problems they give so I can better cater my teaching to your specific needs
