Hello! I have been teaching English to high school and college students for over 20 years and have had success with helping all my students to grow and improve their skills. I specialize in teaching writing and have been an AP Literature and Composition instructor as well as Reader for the exam for over 10 years. I am also trained in a variety of methods for reaching struggling learners and have certification for teaching dyslexics to read through multi-sensory OG instruction. My educational background began at Eastern Illinois University (BA with certification) and I quickly earned a MA in English, emphasis in writing from Saint Xavier University. I have completed an intense 2 year program for the dyslexia instruction and have targeted training for teaching college writing through Northwestern University. I am approachable, positive and see all students as an opportunity to raise their personal level of knowledge and abilities. I look forward to meeting you!
