I work with students to identify misconceptions as well as to discover prior knowledge. I use this information to guide my lessons. Phonemic Awareness is one of the most important aspects of Reading. For early readers, they have to have adequate phonemic awareness to be successful in decoding words. I have experience in developing phonemic awareness through a variety of ways.
