I have always been passionate about teaching. I tutored chemistry in college and have held several mentoring roles. I volunteered as a summer AP mentor for high school students, preparing them for success in AP Biology. I also worked as an Integrated Genomics mentor where I held office hours for one-on-one assistance. Before going back to graduate school, my job was to train new medical scribes on medical terminology, anatomy, diseases, and more. Most recently, I have experience teaching Novice Medical Spanish for a class of 15 fellow medical students.
I value adapting my teaching to fit each individual student. I work to tailor my lesson help to the individual needs, strengths, and learning styles of each student.
