Hi!

I've been teaching writing for 17 years, mostly "freshman comp." I've always gotten good grades in writing and history courses. Before that, in the 1980, I was a tutor at a community college for a dozen years. My approach is to deal with what the student needs, and to help clarify goals.

I've had a hundred pieces -- poems and such -- published in the small press. In addition, I've written four science fiction novels. I believe that each writing task is unique and good writing can't and isn't all done the same way.
