Nice to meet you, my name is Haruma! I am a native Japanese and English Bilingual that was raised in both USA and Japan throughout my life. I have been tutoring Japanese for 5 years, received a 5 on the AP Japanese test, and possess a seal of biliteracy from my state.

My main focus when it comes to tutoring Japanese is making sure you enjoy what you are learning and help you understand the language easier to make you fluent in no time. I adjust my teaching styles to preferences you would like in order to achieve your goals.

I create personalized lessons to each student so no two lessons will ever be the same. My unique background of growing up in Japan helps me teach the culture, living, and behaviors that only natives would know.

I have the upmost respect for anyone that wants to learn Japanese. Learning a new language (especially Japanese) is a daunting task to think about.
