My name is Barbara. I attended a Division I state school, Eastern Illinois University, on a full women's basketball scholarship from 86-90. I believe being successful is truly playing to the highest ability that your skill level will allow. Not everyone is Michael Jordan, but everyone can give it their all. Basketball is a game that requires athletic ability, intelligence and hard work. Those 3 elements allowed me to be a member of our conference's All Decade Team and a member of the Eastern Illinois University Hall of Fame.
I played point guard in college and therefore have a firm grasp on all positions and how their specific roles can affect the team. I was a press season All American my junior year...before injuring myself and dealing with a family emergency my senior year. I lead the first team ever from Eastern Illinois to the Division I NCAA Tournament with a 30 point performance in the conference finals. Basketball is a team sport and perfecting your role in that team is how you will be successful. I can help get you there.
