I’m Krishi,, a pre-med student at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a strong academic foundation in biology, chemistry, and English. I’ve completed college-level coursework in general biology, general and organic chemistry, and advanced writing, all of which I’ve excelled in. My goal is to pursue a career in medicine, and through this path, I’ve developed a deep understanding of scientific concepts, strong communication skills, and a love for helping others learn.
I began tutoring informally in high school, helping classmates and younger students grasp challenging material in math and science. More recently, I’ve volunteered at my local hospital, where I’ve worked with children and young adults, helping them with homework and reading skills. My approach to tutoring is flexible and student-centered—I aim to meet students where they are, break down concepts into simple steps, and adapt my teaching style to how each person learns best. I’ve worked with students from elementary through high school, mostly in one-on-one settings, and I always strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment. I believe that with the right guidance and mindset, every student can thrive.
