Hello world!
My name is Luka and oh wow, being put on the spot really makes you your mind go blank, huh?
In all seriousness, I am a very experienced tutor in Chemistry primarily, but that doesn't mean I can't help with Math and English coursework as well! I received my Bachelor's and Master's in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a 3.7 and 3.8 GPA, respectively.
Aside from that, I have been tutoring for ages now, since my freshman year of college – collectively, I've been employed at colleges as a tutor and also worked as a private tutor for about 11 years now in both group settings and one on one. I am mostly used to working with college students, but I have also tutored high school students as well.
I have also been employed as a TA and professor for about 5 years total across different colleges if that helps bolster my background at all.
My approach to tutoring is really quite simple: I know a lot of people hate chemistry (or really any subject that they struggle with), so I strive to demystify the concepts and enable the student to gain confidence such that they feel prepared to answer any question on their own without my help (as much as that would hurt my bank account).
Anyway, if my slight joking hasn't put you off, feel free to get in touch if you think I might be able to help you!
