My tutoring technique would be tailored from the answers to two questions: the goal of the student and his/her skill level. Once I have clear understanding from the answer to these questions, I can create a lesson plan that will help the student achieve the knowledge that they are seeking. Not everyone learns the same way, but a balanced approach of personal instruction and hands on examples are the tried and true way to impart this knowledge, especially when it comes to a computer application that is as divers as MS Access.
