When I was old enough, I started actually teaching Sunday School at my church. In college, I taught group fitness classes to help bring in extra money. I graduated with a degree in Education, specializing in English and Communications.
I LOVE to write, and to teach writing and reading. But if public speaking is your area of need, I also am very good at teaching those classes too! I taught in an urban school district for 13 years, until our family relocated to a different state. I have experience with elementary teaching, having taught at that level for half my career. I am also certified to teach secondary grades, and finished off my career at the middle school level--an age I absolutely love teaching! It matters to me that students not only learn, but have fun doing so. My method is very conversational, and entertaining! Keeping students engaged in learning is crucial.
