In 2021, I finished my PhD from the University of Michigan, focusing on the genetic basis of neurodevelopmental disorders. Following my PhD, I completed a two-year consulting program with Merck KgAa, focusing on projects to bring oncology and multiple sclerosis therapies to market. Teaching and mentoring have always been a passion of mine. I believe that each student has a unique learning style and understanding that is crucial for their success. I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student’s needs, fostering their curiosity and confidence in the subject. My goal is to make learning engaging and applicable beyond the classroom, acting as a teammate to help students achieve their academic goals.
With over 8 years of dedicated teaching experience, I have taught high school and undergraduate students extensively, both in group settings and one-on-one. My roles have included being the head lab instructor of an undergraduate Neuroscience lab, where I managed teaching and coursework for 28 students. I also led Biotechnology Camps with miRcore for 6 years, developing course material and laboratory protocols for high school students. Through this experience I have taught close to 1500 students. At the University of Michigan and Northwestern, I mentored and taught 13 pre-med undergraduate, postbac, and medical students, helping them pursue advanced degrees.
I am committed to fostering a love for learning in my students, helping them achieve their full potential academically and beyond. Please feel free to reach out with any inquiries, I look forward to working with you.
