Madeline H. is in her senior year at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. While she loves the south, she is still a permanent resident of DeKalb, IL. Madeline H. is in her senior year at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. While she loves the south, she is still a permanent resident of DeKalb, IL. Madeline is pursuing a B.M. in Music Education and is studying oboe. Madeline has played oboe in multiple concert ensembles as well as playing tenor saxophone in all of the athletic bands. She is currently the president of Kappa Kappa Psi Zeta Chi, a national honorary fraternity for college band members. She also is the founder of the Marching Barbs Alumni Association.
Madeline believes that the most important goal of being a music educator is that they should strive to get more music to more students. By tutoring music subject online, she believes that she can make an impact on many student's lives and in the long run expose more people to more music.
Madeline is in her third year of pursuing her B.M. in music education. She is a member of the oboe studio at USC. She has taken classes in with A's music history, music theory, aural skills, all woodwinds and brass, and music for young children. Madeline has taught both oboe and flute lessons for about 5 years.
