French Language Specialist, Pianist, and Writer

I graduate this Spring with a BA in both Psychology and in French Language and Literature from NIU. I used to tutor first year French at the community college I originally attended in 2012. Before getting a BA, I spent a year in Tours, France during my senior year of high school and ever since then, I've loved the language.

I was homeschooled for most of my life, except for my Freshman Year of high school; but then I realized my high school did not offer enough opportunities once I considered going on into my sophomore year.

I have been playing piano since I was 10, took a break for a couple years, then took Music Theory 1 and 2 in my community college and aced both courses along with two years of vocal lesson. I love music and piano and singing seems to be my cup of tea. I have a good understanding of music theory and piano basics.

I have always loved writing and have gotten plenty of experience from writing 11-30 page papers whilst in my psychology courses at NIU. My mom was a grammar expert and I believe I have gotten my own sense of grammar-criticism from her.

I love teaching a new language to someone who wants to learn it. I loved tutoring at the Community college (IVCC) as well as teaching English when I was in France.

I have a BA in French Language and Literature and have an 'A' average in all of my French courses taken at NIU (as well as IVCC).

I have been writing papers in APA format since sophomore year of high school and have received A's and B's in most all of my papers done at NIU regarding literature as well as psychological research. I have had multiple friends ask for help in editing their papers while at NIU and I always have enjoyed offering any help I can.

I love teaching new things to people who want to learn! I'm available most nights as well as all day Sunday. Let me know how I can help and I would be glad to!
