I am a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where I received B.A.s in English Literature and Film & Media Studies, with concentrations in Creative Writing and Film Production. I was awarded the Howard Nemerov Creative Writing scholarship at the university, and have received competitive writing awards such as the Leanna Boysko Prize for Critical Prose and the Dramatics Club of St. Louis Prize for creative writing.

As a patient and flexible mentor I am capable of tailoring my tutoring methods to each individual student's needs, to ensure that their essays for literature, philosophy, history or social studies courses contain clear, articulate, and original ideas. My typical method consists of working closely with students by helping them develop unique ideas about the subject matter they plan to tackle, and then helping them develop those ideas into a clear paragraph-by-paragraph structure. As an experienced summer camp counselor, orientation leader, and freelance writing tutor I have 4 years of experience working with students between elementary school and college age in both one on one and classroom style settings.
