I am a middle school English Language Arts teacher with experience teaching accelerated 8th grade students, specializing in writing, reading comprehension, and literary analysis. I am passionate about helping students grow into confident, independent writers while strengthening the academic skills they need to succeed in school.
In my sessions, I focus on targeted, skill-based instruction. Rather than simply completing assignments, I help students understand how to improve their writing, develop stronger analysis, and apply these skills independently. I work closely with each student’s current class assignments while also providing structured support in areas such as essay writing, text evidence, grammar, and organization.
I primarily work with students in grades 7–9, supporting both on-level and advanced learners. My goal is to create a supportive and structured environment where students feel confident taking academic risks and developing their abilities.
Due to limited availability during the school year, I offer a small number of consistent weekly time slots. I look forward to working with motivated students who are ready to grow and improve. I enjoy helping students discover their voice as writers and take pride in their academic growth.
