I’m a research scientist with a Ph.D. in Physics and over 8 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from high school to graduate level. While I’m new to Wyzant, I’ve helped countless students improve their understanding, boost their confidence, and raise their grades in subjects like Physics, Math, Statistics, and test prep for SAT Math and GRE Math.
Before starting my Ph.D., I worked as a private tutor and small-group instructor, teaching both individual students and groups of up to 10. During my doctoral studies, I served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate-level General Physics and Math courses. I also taught university-level Physics courses such as Newtonian Mechanics and Quantum Physics for three years.
What I love most about teaching is helping students truly understand the "why" behind the concepts—not just memorizing formulas. My goal is to make tough topics more approachable and help students develop problem-solving skills that last.
