I passed all four sections of the CPA exam in 8.5 months while working full time. Hello! My name is Nick and I am a practicing accountant in the Dallas Metroplex! I completed my undergraduate and master's degrees both at the University of Dallas, and both in Accounting. I passed all four sections of the CPA exam in 8.5 months while working full time. I have been an accounting tutor since my junior year of college, and I love helping students figure out and understand accounting.

As mentioned I am also an accountant for a consulting firm in Dallas, providing accounting services to private equity funds. I was hired there right out of undergrad, and have been with them for nearly two years now. Accounting is not for everyone, but I do believe that it is an incredibly valuable skill to have, and I think that if you can understand it, you can enjoy it! There is something immensely satisfying about getting to the right answer.

I have an undergraduate and graduate degree in accounting, and I have passed all four sections of the certified public accountant (CPA) exam. As an accountant, I work in excel pretty much all day every day.

I have used QuickBooks at both my previous job and for my clients currently at my current job.

Like I said, if you can understand accounting, it can be very enjoyable, and an incredibly useful skill! I love helping students understand concepts, and since I am young and just out of college, I believe that I can offer a fresh perspective and way of explaining that you might not get in a college class.

Cancellation policy: If we agree on a time but something comes up, I would be more than happy to reschedule, as long as it is not within 24 hours. Any cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full rate; however, if we reschedule, only 50% of the original meeting will be billed.

I really struggled when I was starting out with my CPA journey, I didn't know how I could possibly retain all of the material for each exam without logging hundreds of hours. I came across a video that was transformational in my approach and from that point it was only 9 months until I passed the final exam. Working togther we will go through my recommended method of active recall and create a studying roadmap to help point you in the direction of passing all four exams!
