Hello! My Name is Natalie F. Born in Georgia, I currently live in Chicago though the winters have me longing to move back south! I currently work as a part-time tutor on another platform and as a freelance writer/editor. In addition to publishing hundreds of academic works, and nonfiction articles, I have also published fiction and poetry. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and do some life coaching on the side. I find this background gives me extra insight into how best to help my students. I’ve taught and mentored students at a number of different Universities and ran the Clinical Masters Program in Psychology at the University of Hartford. I’ve served as a literacy volunteer with children and adolescents to help them learn to read, in afterschool programs to help middle school students with homework, and have trained to teach ESL classes.

I am very artistic and was on the stage from the time I was 3 until I was in my mid 30's. I went to a performing arts high school and danced with the Atlanta ballet until I was 21. I love most types of theater such as plays, ballets, symphonies and concerts. I love meeting and talking to new people and am looking forward to doing so on Wyzant's platform!
