Hi everyone! My name is Noah, and I am a graduate of DePaul University's Chinese Studies Program. For the past ten years, Chinese has been the center of my personal and professional universe. Hi everyone! My name is Noah, and I am a graduate of DePaul University's Chinese Studies Program. For the past ten years, Chinese has been the center of my personal and professional universe. From textbooks and movies to speaking for hours with shop-owners in Beijing, I have exposed myself to the language in as many ways as possible, building my language muscles to the point of near-native fluency. Learning Chinese changed the course of my life and opened up a world of new possibilities. There's nothing I love more than sharing my passion for the language with others!
To give a brief summary of my language abilities, during my time at DePaul, I worked as a Chinese language tutor, and I emceed several large-scale Chinese events in Chinese. After graduating, I worked full-time as a Chinese translator/interpreter for two years, and I also worked part-time at a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown as a server, where most communication was executed in Chinese.
If you're interested in learning this wonderful language, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my qualifications, availability, or anything else Chinese-related! I look forward to our first class!
