Best Tutor EVER!

Niko is such a pleasure to work with. He is friendly, patient, efficient great at explaining things and makes learning feel easy, and fun! I searched high and low to find a tutor who could help me learn Ableton Live and after trying out several tutors, I felt relieved and so happy to find Niko. I've learned so much from him in a short time and it has been so comforting to know that I am not alone in my learning curve. Thankfully I don't have to endlessly scroll through Youtube videos to try to find the answers to my problems. Niko is a pro musician and actually works in the industry, so he really knows what he's doing - I don't have to deal with any more wannabes, phew! I highly recommend Niko to help you with everything engineering and to navigate DAWs - especially Ableton which is not user friendly at first. Niko is a kind, intelligent, talented and you will be happy that you chose him to help you navigate through the engineering side of the music industry.

Before the session, I had provided my questions and overall goals to get help with mix/mastering a particular song. Once we connected, Nico X very quickly assessed where I was in the mix/mastering process and had multiple suggestions for next steps. He showed me some very useful techniques and essentially took my mix from being 'good' to sounding like a professional finished mix/master. He very clearly and plainly explained the steps and the reasoning behind what he was doing. This information has filled in many "blank holes" in my process to mix/master and will enable me to raise the level of quality in my songs going forward.

Niko is a fantastic teacher, extremely thorough, and makes learning so much fun. I trust him to teach me like no other. He is sensitive towards what you want to learn and guides you in a way that is empowering towards your style as an artist as well as equipping you with the skills you need from beginning to end. I failed out of a recording technology class when I was in college and now as a 31 year old I'm circling back around to learn production inside and out. I definitely won't be skipping this class. :)

Friendly and Knowledgeable Tutor

Niko has a ton of knowledge to share and was an absolute blast to work with. I was looking for help with my music production/mixing skillset and he was the perfect fit for my needs. I've been making music for a few years and Niko showed me some concepts that helped me take my production quality a notch up. Niko came well-prepared for our lesson and helped me get set up with a streaming tool that shares HQ audio straight from my Ableton session to his computer so he could hear all the details in my mix.
