Hi, I’m Hason! I graduated from MCPHS with my Bachelor’s degree and went on to earn a Master of Science from the University of Southern California. I’m currently a surgical resident, building on a strong foundation in science, communication, and leadership that began long before I entered medicine.

Before transitioning into healthcare, I worked in the business sector, where I developed a deep appreciation for public speaking, interviewing, and interpersonal communication—skills that have carried over seamlessly into tutoring and mentorship. I’m especially passionate about helping others present themselves confidently in high-stakes settings like interviews and professional conversations.

I’ve been tutoring for years across all levels—from elementary school to graduate programs. My expertise spans a wide range of subjects: biology, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, and literature (including essay writing and editing). I adapt my teaching to each student’s learning style, often using analogies, visuals, and storytelling to make complex topics stick.

In addition to academic support, I love helping students with professional development. Whether you're applying to college, graduate programs, or medical school, I’m happy to help with personal statement reviews, CV feedback, and mock interviews to help you showcase your strengths.

After graduating with my Masters Degree I worked as a health system consultant. In my role, I conduct both primary and secondary research to discover key insights and findings and presented them to clients. I also provided gap assessment in clinical and systems workflow for clinicians by evaluating current state and recommending process optimization for the future state. I then worked as a project manager at a healthcare technology company and lead implementations at health systems but also present business presentations to health system leadership. In medical school I was involved with admissions, and thus far have helped dozens of students gain admission into graduate school, law school, and medical/dental schools

I have been through the pre-medical process, have attended graduate school, as well as gained admission into medical school. I have helped numerous peers and colleagues apply and get into professional health programs- from MPH programs to medical school to nursing school. I have helped clients prepare for community college applications, provided pre-med counseling to students, and helped students look at and apply to graduate schools. Having completed medical school thus far, as well as a Masters degree- I have had a plethora of experience with pharmacology including learning it thoroughly and applying it to patients. My comprehensive understanding of medical science, combined with practical experience in related fields, allows me to effectively explain complex pharmacological concepts to students. Additionally, my ability to analyze and interpret clinical data, as demonstrated through your work on research projects, makes me well-equipped to convey pharmacological principles in an educational setting.

I've led speaking engagements at events hosting a dozen people to events hosting over one hundred members. In my professional role, I am currently a consultant and in my time I lead presentations to business executives and hospital executives to deliver effective messages regularly. I have been mentoring colleagues and peers for years on how to have an engaging presentation style, assess the needs of an audience, and how to control performance anxiety! I use an individualized approach with each one of my clients to ensure they learn the methods and are able to utilize them. Through the last few years, I have helped colleagues prepare for graduate school interviews, job interviews, and have coached business professionals to prepare for presentations! I'm looking forward to helping others achieve their goals. Excellent Interview Prep Tutor

Hason was a patient and excellent teacher. He was confident in his ability as a tutor and that confidence allowed me to be successful and prepared for my interview. Hason explained himself in a manner that made everything easier to comprehend and made me relax. His experience with preparing students for interview prep is the sole reason why I was successful in my virtual law school interview prep. We literally went over and practiced the exact questions that were given to me on the actual interview. I will choose to work with Hason again and recommend him to anyone who is looking to sharpen their interview skills.

In applying to graduate school, I needed help to improve my interview skills. Hason looked over my application materials and prepared a list of interview questions. We did a mock interview together. Hason took notes and provided honest and helpful feedback. We discussed tricky questions and he sometimes asked me to repeat my answer. This was really helpful because I could put his advice into practice immediately. Sometimes, when I missed the point of a question, he would clarify "what they are really asking," or else encourage me to expand if my answer was too short. This helped me think of more relevant and complete answers. Hason gives good advice. If you need interview help, I recommend that you practice with Hason!
