I’m a certified high school science teacher and fourth-year medical student with over 10 years of tutoring experience. My goal is to help students not only master the material but also build the study strategies and confidence to succeed independently.

I’m a certified high school science teacher and fourth-year medical student with over 10 years of tutoring experience. My goal is to help students not only master the material but also build the study strategies and confidence to succeed independently.

I’ve taught and tutored students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Psychology, all at the high school and college levels. I also specialize in standardized test prep, tutoring students for the SAT, ACT, and MCAT. I specifically emphasize test-taking strategies that can be applied across subjects. My students have ranged from those strengthening foundational skills to those aiming for top grades in advanced science courses.

In my sessions, I emphasize two things: clear understanding and effective learning techniques. I adapt each lesson to your unique learning style so that you can retain concepts and apply them across future classes. Many of my students who once struggled have gone on to earn A’s and B’s and regain their confidence in science and math.

Before entering medicine, I taught high school Biology, Physics, and Chemistry full-time. My background in neuroscience and chemistry allows me to connect theory to real-world applications, helping students see why what they’re learning matters.

When I first started, I was completely overwhelmed by the MCAT studying process. She gave me lots of helpful tips of on how to dissect passages and how to answer questions at a faster pace with easy to apply strategies. I wouldn't have increased both my Bio/Biochem and Chem/Phys score without her.
