I understand when students need to use traditional math to get answers and when they can bypass it to get answers more quickly. I also have worked with all levels of students, from students who struggle with elementary math to students who have won Westinghouse medals.
Kids often hate reading because they think it’s irrelevant and doesn’t speak to them. I show them why they need to be able read well with real world examples as well as how standardized tests test reading skills.
I’m excited to join the platform and eager to work with St Louis area students from all backgrounds.
