Growing up in the Indianapolis Area, Justin began playing guitar and writing music at age eight. In addition to his time in the school band from 6th grade through his senior year, Justin performed solo and in his own bands around Indiana. He also taught group instruction and private lessons at the School of Rock in Carmel Indiana throughout high school.
