While there, I trained tutors in ACT/SAT techniques, taught group classes, and worked 1 to 1 with our students. My job was to be an absolute expert in ACT/ SAT and the college admissions process.
After a great 10 year run, I sold a large portion of the business. I no longer wanted all the ancillary stuff involved in running a tutoring center. I just wanted to teach. Now I'm working with students online and around Chicago, and they're my sole focus. I'm offering a premium tutoring experience complete with materials customized to address each student's particular needs. We'll work from real ACTs / SATs from the last three years, making sure we always have the questions most representative of the real thing. Additionally, students receive a personalized study guide that I complete between our sessions. To put it simply, raising scores is my number one priority, and we'll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

- I've run with the bulls in Spain, climbed to the top of Machu Picchu, and bussed around remote areas in Africa. All in all, I've been to 50 countries, many with my adventurous wife, Amy, alongside.
- I was a high school football player and am a big fan of the Bears and Badgers. I also love baseball, usually attending about 20 MLB games a year.
- I love live music and play guitar occasionally in local Chicago bands.
- My nerd side comes out with crosswords and novels. Some favorites are Infinite Jest and A Confederacy of Dunces.
