Certified ESL and French Teacher with student centered approach

Hello & Bonjour! My name is Emily and I am a certified K-12 teacher in Illinois. I teach French and English as a Second Language. I am mostly experienced with working with high-school aged students but I am open to other age groups as well. I have taught and worked abroad (Paris) and I enjoy meeting people from all different backgrounds. I enjoy creating lessons based on my students' needs and interests.

I obtained my ESL teaching certification through UIC in 2017. I worked as an English TA in a French public high school and tutored many of those students privately or in small groups on the side. I have been an adult ESL instructor for 2 years.
