Bio

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
For 14 years, I homeschooled my two sons from K-12th grade. As a result of my instruction for the ACT, my younger son scored a composite score of 32 on his only attempt and my older son scored 31 and 33 on two attempts.

I have two years of experience as a volunteer tutor for elementary students in an after-school program.

I earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering completing Engineering Calculus I, II, and III.

I have a bachelor of science in engineering with 15+ years of homeschool teaching and tutoring experience. For the past three years, have tutored multiple students for the HSPT and SSAT/ISEE high school entrance examinations. I have also tutored four students for the ACT and SAT exams. My students each raised their exam scores, enabling most of them to be accepted into the high schools of their choice. One of my high school students was accepted into Harvard and Yale, and another student was accepted into Northwestern University.

I have also served as a homeschool mentor and a homeschool support group leader for seven years. I have an engineering degree from the University of Iowa and a degree in Health Information Management from Indiana University Northwest.
