I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern Illinois University and hold a double major in secondary education and history. I am in my 8th year of teaching and am extremely proud of what I've been able to accomplish thus far in AP Macroeconomics. In my first year of teaching, student AP scores increased by 22% over the previous year. In my most recent year, AP Macroeconomic students averaged a 4.308 on the AP exam with a 95.7% pass rate.

I pride myself in providing student-centered differentiated instruction that is interactive and exciting. It's extremely important to me that my students are vested in their educational experience. Past courses taught include: Honors World Studies, U.S. History, Honors Economics, & Marketing & Entrepreneurship. Having taught multiple levels of economics, both AP and honors, I am well versed in both micro and macro principles. I recognize that not every student learns the same way, therefore I cater my teaching methods to the individual student I am instructing.

As an instructor and department chair, I've tutored a wide variety of students from multiple schools throughout WI and IL. I have a knack for helping students understand concepts and ideas that they had previously struggled with. I'm upbeat, positive, and someone who never demands more from my students than I am also willing to give. This past year, my 124 students averaged a 3.737 on the AP exam (almost a full point better than the national average) with an 81.5% pass rate. My classes consist of sophomores thru Seniors, although I am comfortable tutoring all levels. Although I specialize in macroeconomics, I also have a firm understanding of micro principles and would love to thoroughly explain those concepts that are currently causing you trouble.
