I have five years of teaching English to students both internationally and in my home state of Wisconsin. My passion for teaching and working with a diverse group of students has intertwined with my desire to travel and improve my own second language skills in Spanish. I have worked with students in Chile and in Spain. I have experience working with all ages of English learners, through one-on-one tutoring and in the classroom. I have been a tutor and also been tutored in a foreign language; my personal experiences have helped to shape my lesson plans and my approach.

I also worked in bilingual secondary schools in Madrid, Spain, creating learning activities for English and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) classes. I have thoroughly enjoyed working both one-on-one with students, as well as working with a classroom of learners. I enjoy working with learners of all ages and have privately tutored children and adults.
Last year, I had the opportunity to work at Waukesha County Technical College’s Adult Basic Education program i
