About Miller

Bio

I was raised in Egypt where I went to a French Jesuit school since kindergarten. My education from Kindergarten to my freshmen year in High School was completely in French. Due to my upbringing I am fluent in English, French and Arabic.

I received my Bachelor's in French in 2002 from Loyola University Chicago. There I majored in International Studies and French. I went back to school in 2005 to become a teacher and received my Education Certification from Elmhurst College in 2008.

I have been a French Teacher at Chicago Public Schools for the last 8 years. I have taught all levels of French from French I to French IV. I have taught students from the 6th grade to the 12th grade. Throughout those years I have tried to provide my students with relevant experiences to improve their knowledge of the French language and culture.

I am not just familiar with the language but I am also a teacher and certified to teach.

I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. I studied Arabic for 15 years while living in Egypt. I continue to speak Arabic today with family and Friends. I am also a French teacher so I have an educational background.

I was educated in a French school since KG. I received my Bachelor's Degree in French from Loyola University Chicago in 2002. I have been a H.S. French teacher for the past 9 years. I have taught all levels of French from 6th grade to 12th grade. I have taught French I to IB French IV.

Knowledgeable and very patient

Mr. Miller seems to be a very good fit for my high school daughter. He knows the language but most importantly he knows how to teach. In the first lesson he took the time to understand what she really understood and what she did not from French 1 last year. With a plan moving forward, we look forward to his help through out this school year.
