Writing Coach for University Students and Adult Learners

I am a PhD graduate from Northwestern University available to help students improve their reading and writing skills. For several years, I have been a university instructor, where I am invested in helping all students reach their potentials as critical thinkers. In the classroom and through my assignments, I help students distill key ideas from challenging readings, understand the structure and organization of college-level written work, and express themselves clearly and persuasively through their own writing.

I am particularly eager to work with students who are in college or graduate school. I can provide guidance to help students improve their editing and proofreading skills. (I take academic integrity very seriously and will *not* ghost-write papers: the ideas in your papers will be your own and I will work with you to ensure that those ideas come through clearly.)

My bachelor's degree is from Cornell, where I graduated summa cum laude. I often tell my students that reading and writing skills require practice: they improve over time. I invite you to bring your written materials to me so that we can work through them together.
