I am a student at Loyola University Chicago, studying physics and computer science. I actually have a job there as a computer science tutor-- which goes to show my specialty area is computer science.

I am a student at Loyola University Chicago, studying physics and computer science. I actually have a job there as a computer science tutor-- which goes to show my specialty area is computer science.

I can help you with many kinds of programming languages, such as C#, C++, Java, or Python. Since I am a physics major, I can also assist with a lot of math leading especially up to algebra 2 and if needed up to Calculus 2. I can also help with basic physics for now (Non-AP) but I'm working my way towards being able to tutor in Physics 1 and 2. I can also assist with setting up computers/devices, or getting to know your devices/applications (Microsoft Word, new laptop, etc).

I love helping people figure out topics or questions they had that were difficult for them to understand and giving them the knowledge and skills they need to solve future problems on their own.

I like to run, play video games, learn languages, and watch movies at theaters. Please feel free to contact me and we can work something out so that your tutoring needs may be met.

Approved Subjects

Bodybuilding

Bodybuilding

I have been training consistently since college, building a self-directed practice spanning strength training, hypertrophy, CrossFit, mobility work, and distance running including cross country. Over the years I have developed a strong working knowledge of program design, progressive overload, recovery, and how to structure training around specific goals whether that is building muscle, increasing strength, or improving overall fitness. I am comfortable helping students who are just getting started in the gym as well as those looking to refine their approach, break through plateaus, or build more sustainable training habits. My approach is practical and grounded in what actually works over the long term rather than quick fixes or overly complicated programming.
Computer Programming

Computer Programming

I have extensive experience in computer programming. Both my current job as a tutor at my university and my studies towards earning a degree in Physics and Computer Science require such knowledge, and I also love to program in my spare time. I know Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, C, Scala, and simple languages such as Scratch and the MIT AppInventor Program. I can teach object oriented programming also.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I believe I am qualified to tutor in this broad subject area because I am currently a tutor at my university for computer science. Furthermore, I am currently majoring in Physics and Computer Science, with a current GPA of 3.6, so I know a lot about this subject, and know it well. I am able to assist with programming languages as well as with some algorithms and discrete mathematics. In particular, I like to help people with C++,C#, Java, and Python.
Data Structures

Data Structures

I am a Senior Software Engineer with over eight years of professional experience building production systems where a solid understanding of data structures is not just academic but essential to writing efficient, scalable code. Through my computer science degree at Loyola University Chicago and my career across fintech, edtech, and digital banking, I have applied data structures including arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, hash maps, stacks, and queues in real-world engineering contexts. I am comfortable helping students understand not just how these structures work but why they matter, how to choose the right one for a given problem, and how to analyze the time and space complexity of their solutions. Whether you are working through a university course, preparing for technical interviews, or trying to strengthen your fundamentals, I can help you build the kind of deep understanding that translates into better code.
Fitness

Fitness

I have maintained a consistent fitness practice since college, with experience across strength training, hypertrophy, CrossFit, mobility work, and distance running. I have developed a practical understanding of how to build well-rounded fitness programs tailored to individual goals, whether that means losing weight, building endurance, increasing strength, or simply developing healthier habits. I understand how to balance different training modalities, manage recovery, and make sustainable progress without burnout or injury. I enjoy helping others cut through the noise around fitness and find an approach that actually fits their lifestyle and goals.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I am a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of professional experience who has successfully navigated the technical interview process multiple times throughout my career, landing roles at companies including Capital One, Discovery Education, and Alkami. I have hands-on familiarity with what the modern software engineering interview process looks like end to end, from resume screening and recruiter calls through technical phone screens, coding challenges, and system design rounds. I can help students prepare for behavioral questions using the STAR method, sharpen their approach to data structures and algorithms problems, practice articulating technical concepts clearly, and build the confidence to perform well under pressure. Whether you are preparing for your first software engineering role or targeting senior-level positions at competitive companies, I can help you put your best foot forward.
Networking (Computer)

Networking (Computer)

I am a Senior Software Engineer with over eight years of professional experience building and maintaining production systems across fintech, edtech, and digital banking. My networking knowledge spans REST API design, HTTP protocols, client-server architecture, DNS, and how web applications communicate across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. I have worked extensively with AWS services and have hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Splunk, and NewRelic for monitoring and diagnosing network-level issues in real production environments. Whether you are studying for a networking exam, working through a computer science course, or trying to understand how the internet actually works under the hood, I can help connect the theory to how it plays out in practice.
Python

Python

I am currently using Python as a full time, full stack software development engineer. My company specializes in targeted advertising, so we work with large amounts of data and use Python to process it as well. I am experienced with using the python framework flask for web development as well.
Track & Field

Track & Field

I competed in track and field and cross country at the high school level and continued running as part of a collegiate club program, with experience in distance events as well as the 400 meter. Through years of competitive running I developed a solid understanding of training principles for distance runners including base building, interval work, race strategy, pacing, and recovery. I can help student athletes improve their running mechanics, build their aerobic base, prepare for specific events, and develop the mental toughness that distance running demands. Whether you are a beginner looking to get started or a competitive runner looking to shave time off your personal bests, I can draw on my own experience to help you train smarter and perform better.
Volleyball

Volleyball

I have participated in multiple indoor and beach volleyball leagues through Chicago recreational organizations at both beginner and intermediate levels, giving me practical experience with the game in a variety of formats and settings. Through recreational play I have developed a solid understanding of fundamental volleyball skills including serving, passing, setting, and court positioning, as well as how to apply those skills in real game situations. I enjoy the sport and can help beginners get comfortable with the basics, understand the rules, and build the foundational skills they need to start playing confidently. My approach is encouraging and low pressure, focused on making the learning process enjoyable for players who are just getting started or looking to improve their recreational game.
Web Design

Web Design

I am a Senior Software Engineer with over eight years of professional experience building and shipping web applications across a range of industries including fintech, edtech, and digital banking. My web design and development experience spans HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, and I have built consumer-facing interfaces that serve real users in production environments. Beyond my professional work I have built personal projects including a React-based Wordle remix and a website for a wedding musical group using Next.js and TypeScript, giving me hands-on experience designing and building polished web experiences from scratch. I can help students learn the fundamentals of web design and development, understand how to structure and style pages effectively, and build the skills to bring their own ideas to life on the web.
