I have taught college level chemistry from 2010 to 2015. I have taught college level chemistry from 2010 to 2015. I choose to teach based on my love of chemistry and mathematics in large part due to the actions of Mrs. Terry Peartree and Mrs. Mary Kelly, my high school chemistry and calculus teachers. These educators encouraged my inquisitive nature and taught me that science is about asking questions and challenging assumptions, because the outcome could lead to new and exciting experiences. I believe that learning does not stop when you leave the building or walk across the stage, but rather it continues throughout one’s life as a springboard for growth and development wherever the road may lead.

I have three advanced degrees (M.S., Ph.D. and M.BE) in the fields of chemical engineering, bioengineering, and biochemistry. In addition, I have taught college level chemistry at Houston Community College, Department of Natural Sciences from 2010 to 2015. I am currently attending the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (M.D. 2020).

I always liked the expression, "Those who can do, do, and those who can do better, teach." I believe this version is a better analogue to the experiences in my life than the implications of the original version. Because, life is like an experiment, you have to figure out where you belong.
