Who doesn't love when the lightbulb goes off and a new concept finally clicks?! This is especially true in language where all of a sudden you can communicate more effectively - or get the grade you're hoping for! I create comfortable environment so that you'll feel at ease learning new concepts and acquiring new language skills in French or English. Gain the freedom and confidence that come with mastering these skills with personalized sessions based on your specific motivations, background and goals. I am a certified French teacher with a master's in Applied Linguistics/Teaching English as a Second Language. My experience includes teaching French in the public school setting, ESL to adult classes at the community college level, and tutoring individuals one-on-one in French and English. Each student is unique, and I adapt my methods to what works best for that student. One-on-one environments offer the unique opportunity and privilege to provide the student with individualized and interactive instruction, and this is what I hope to provide in every lesson. Language learning is both challenging and rewarding, and I strive to keep the learning environment free from anxiety while at the same time providing opportunities for students to learn at their own pace and constantly leave with the knowledge of new material and the assurance to practice the new language in meaningful ways.

I fell in love with French culture and language in general around 10 years old, which led me a degree in French, a masters in TESOL and continued education in France, gaining a Certification in Wine and Spirits from Chateau Pecauld in the Jura region of France. I have a strong knowledge of English and French grammar, pronunciation, syntax, and related cultures, and I hope to lead others to their own mastery.
